This is a place where you can try the various features provided by the forums like bold and italic text. You can scratch out text to delete it. To use the markers above this window: select the text and click the button. If you add a link or image (img) you’ll be prompted for the values.

To create a list: click ul to start an unnumbered list, /ul to end it; click ol to start a numbered (i.e., ordered) list, and /ol to end it; each list item within these is surrounded by a li…/li pair of tags. The close tags button will close all the tags for you. Code is useful for posting fragments of code so most people can ignore this.

Don’t be afraid to experiment, that’s what this forum is for!

Here’s what a block quote (b-quote) looks like.

This is an un-numbered list (ul…/ul):

    • Item one
    • Item two
    • Item three

You can also do numbered lists (ol…/ol):

    1. Item one
    2. Item two
    3. Item three

Click the camera button down below, by the Submit button; you can drag and drop an image there, or select one from your computer. It will take a few seconds for the image to appear because it’s being “crunched” on the server to Here’s an example I’ve attached to this post:

Here’s the code that created the above post; it was generated by using the buttons about the edit window. The post has a description of this process — all the funny tags you see in the post were created by the buttons:
